The VITO Diamond Therm 12.2T Split is a three-phase 12.2 kW air-to-water heat pump for heating, cooling and domestic hot water. It consists of an outdoor unit and an indoor hydrobox connected by copper refrigerant lines.
The refrigerant-to-water heat exchanger sits in the hydrobox inside the house, so the heating loop is not at risk of freezing and needs no propylene glycol antifreeze. It has a Panasonic compressor, Grundfos circulation pump, R32 refrigerant, 60 °C water and an A+++ rating.
Control is via a colour touch controller with Wi-Fi. The 495 × 800 × 280 mm hydrobox weighs 47 kg and the outdoor unit 92 kg.
